Total transparency and flat-rate pricing to guarantee peace of mind and trust
Our Pricing Philosophy
The firm has established total transparency regarding its fees. Our fee agreements therefore set, except in very specific cases, a fixed flat fee. The attorney-client relationship is thus built on trust and certainty.
In rare cases, if the required legal work is completely unpredictable, an hourly rate is agreed upon (billed on actual time spent), which can be switched to a flat fee as soon as the situation becomes clear.
Every case is of course discussed individually and its price is adapted according to its specificity. Following the payment of an initial retainer, fee payments are spread out over time.
• No travel expenses are charged within the jurisdiction of the Judicial Court of Versailles (Tribunal Judiciaire). Beyond this area, reimbursement is calculated based on actual expenses.
• No administrative opening file fees are added to our flat rates (photocopies, postal mailings, file opening…)
• The flat-rate fee however does not include the remuneration of other legal professionals involved in your case (bailiffs/commissaires de justice, notaries, or local court correspondents/avocats postulants, for example).
Note regarding appeal proceedings
Contact us for an appeal procedure: the flat fee will be higher if the firm did not handle the case at first instance.
Potential Legal Aid & Coverage
Legal Protection Insurance
You may benefit from a legal expenses insurance (protection juridique) with your insurance policies. This policy covers lawyer fees in certain proceedings. It would be a pity not to claim it. Especially since as an insured person, the choice of the lawyer who represents you is left entirely to your own discretion.
State Legal Aid (Aide Juridictionnelle)
If your income is modest, you may be entitled to legal aid (aide juridictionnelle - AJ). The lawyer is then compensated wholly or partially by the State. To find out if you qualify for legal aid, you can consult the applicable scale on the service-public.fr website.
Note: having reached full capacity, the firm is currently no longer accepting cases under legal aid (aide juridictionnelle).

Incidental costs to anticipate
In addition to attorney fees: fiscal stamp of €50 when applicable, potential fees of a commissaire de justice / bailiff (service of legal documents, official findings) and, for mutual consent divorce, filing fees of the agreement with a notary set at €49.44 by statute.
